Nova Cane
Heyy, I'm Nova.
I'm 18, born in Cali February 1984, and I'm basically living my dream life... minus my mom constantly partying and never being home (ugh).
So that means I pretty much have my own apartment in California, which sounds cooler than it is when your dinner is cereal five nights a week.
Although it makes me happy knowing my house is THE party spot!!!!
I'm obsessed with summer. It's my season! Every year means a new bikini and a new set of sunglasses that take up half my face. My favorite animal? Easy. Deer. I don't know why, deer are just so adorable. I love the way they jump.
If you really knew me, you'd know that I LOVE nu metal music.
Actually, I like most alternative music. KORN, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Tool, Mudvayne, Slipknot... I just love it all. Unfortunately, people at school couldn't recognize REAL music even if it were blasting in their ears (which it always is if they're carpooling with me). Whatever, I'm getting sidetracked.
I'm always into the latest trends, but I also kinda make the trends if I'm being honest. Everyone kinda looks up to me at school to inform them about the latest trends.
Shoes, makeup, money, clothes, and pink are what I love.
You're probbably wondering, "Nova, how do you pay for my apartment?" Duh, I work at the mall! I work at Hollister which is pretty much my dream job. I make enough money to pay my share of the rent (and splurge on SHOES).
And yeah, I think I'm beautiful. I don't need anyone to tell me that... though, it's cute when Tyler does.
Speaking of Tyler: my whole heart belongs to him. We met at a record store back in '99, bonding over Korn and TOOL, and it's been mixtapes and drive-in-movies ever since.
He's the only person I've ever shared my secrets with. Honestly, I don't trust anyone but my boyfriend. We watch The Notebook and cry-laugh, make cheesy crafts for each other, and he lets me steal his hoodies (they smell like him and cigarettes, and it weirdly comforts me). Every love letter we write goes into a scrapbook we share.
I judge people a lot (don't we all?), but I usually mean well. I just wish everyone felt as glamourous in life as I do.
